ABOUT REBECCA
Rebecca joined the Avenue Physio team in October 2009 as an Administrative Assistant and is now working as Chief Patient Experience Coordinator, overseeing all front desk operations at the clinic. She also takes care of supply ordering, event planning, staff/office scheduling, communication to third party billing, meeting planning and managing accounts receivables.
What do you like to do outside of work?
When I’m not working, I enjoy dancing, working out, cleaning and doing things with my friends and doodle dog, Tucker. After being in ballet from age 3-18, I have recently started Barre and am loving how it helps keep me flexible and strong!
How do you create a great patient experience?
I believe, in order to create a great patient experience, that communication, empathy and understanding are very important. I really listen to patients and their individual needs and find it much easier to help people, once I have a better understanding of their needs. Being polite, friendly and welcoming, whether on the phone or in person, goes a long way! I also enjoy getting to know our patients, so I can connect with them on a different level, apart from assisting in getting them back to doing what they love!
