A New Chapter Begins: Celebrating 40 Years and a New Location- Our Story
Fifth Ave Physio opened in 1984. Our team continues to successfully treat Calgarians in the downtown core longer than any other physiotherapy clinic.
This year we are not only celebrating our 40th year in business, we are also celebrating a move to a new more vibrant location on April 2nd, 2024. We are sad to say goodbye to the Shell Centre, where we have been located for 20 years, and are very excited to continue treating you in our new Stephen Avenue Place home. Our new clinic has bright windows and easier access right on the C-train line next to a main C-train station.
Since our inception, Avenue Physio has positively impacted the lives of over 30,000 patients in downtown Calgary. Our clinic has had 3 different owners and 4 different locations. We have treated numerous health-focused professionals, professional musicians, athletes, weekend warriors, and patients with chronic, urgent and acute conditions.
Introducing Avenue Physio
We’re proud to have so many loyal patients who have followed, returned and referred to us over the years at four former locations. Three different Clinics on 5th Avenue SW, and one Clinic on 4th Avenue SW. Recognizing the need to keep things simple and easy for our loyal patients, our new Clinic will simply be called Avenue Physio.
No matter where, the atmosphere at our new Clinic will be the exact same: personable, professional, supportive and fun. Our mission also continues as simple and profound. “To change your life with movement”. Through this Mission, we promise to listen to what really matters to you. We promise to excel at physiotherapy through our professionalism and dedication to learning. Most importantly, we promise to provide lasting results.
